Fabric resists light rain and moisture for a period, but water can eventually penetrate. Good for drizzle or brief showers. |

Water Repellent |

Water beads up and rolls off the surface, often because of a DWR treatment. It doesn't necessarily mean the garment itself is water resistant or waterproof. |
